This Intercom has telephone and Intercom in one system. Receive the telephone calls to this cordless phone. Intercom has no wires between the outdoor unit and indoor base unit. Also there are no wires between the base unit and phone (similar to a cordless phone). Maximum working range is 100M in open air. About 70M through buildings.
Visitor rings and talks from the outdoor unit. Gate is opened by pressing the button on cordless phone. Power to the outdoor unit is supplied from Automatic Gate Opener which is not far from the outdoor unit. Power supply to the indoor unit is from an adaptor (supplied) which plugs to the 230V wall socket.
Rechargeable batteries get charged from the base similar to normal cordless telephone.
